Considering egg donation abroad
Many intended parents in the UK look overseas for donor egg treatment, whether because of waiting times, donor availability, or the wish to find a donor who feels like the right match rather than the only one available.
Traveling Donors is an agency. We coordinate donor matching, clinic liaison, travel logistics and the practical arrangements around your cycle in Cyprus, so that you have one point of contact throughout rather than a set of separate conversations in a country you do not know.

Known donors and Open ID
As an agency, we match you with your donor directly. This is what makes an Open ID arrangement possible, where the clinic itself would be required to match anonymously.
It means your donor's identity can be known to you rather than withheld. Where both parties agree, you can meet over a video call before you decide, and some families choose to arrange the possibility of future contact.
For UK parents used to a non-anonymous system at home, this is often the part that matters most. We talk it through with you individually, because every family approaches it differently.
European donors
We work with donors from across Europe who are able to travel to Cyprus, alongside our wider international programme. Matching considers the characteristics that are important to you, and our team will talk you through the options available rather than presenting you with a list and leaving you to it.
Donor availability
Donors are available without a lengthy waiting list. Where suitable, vitrified donor eggs can be available for treatment sooner than a fresh cycle would allow.
Availability changes, so the most useful next step is a short conversation about what you are looking for and what is currently possible.
Check donor availabilityHow it works
A free 20 minute call to understand what you are hoping for and answer your questions.
We present donor options that fit what matters to you, and arrange a video meeting where appropriate.
We coordinate with the clinic on timings, requirements and the practical steps ahead of your cycle.
We stay with you through travel arrangements and the cycle itself, and remain your point of contact throughout.
Your time in Cyprus
How long you are there depends on the treatment plan you choose.
For a fresh embryo transfer, you would be in Cyprus for up to seven days, providing a sperm sample on the day of egg collection and staying until the embryos reach blastocyst stage. Up to two embryos can be transferred.
If you prefer, the intending father can travel at any point before egg collection to leave a frozen sample instead. And where genetic testing of the embryos is chosen, the stay can be as short as four days, with the embryos frozen and results following in around four to six weeks.
We plan the timings with you so the trip is as short and straightforward as your plan allows.

The family you have been hoping for could be closer than you think.
Every journey is different, and a free, no-obligation 20 minute call will tell you far more than a website can. Donor availability changes, so reach out while your ideal match is available.
